- Paradise Islands will not receive further iteration and will NOT be removed.[1.0 24] Additionally, the world border will be moved to allow Pioneers to fully utilize Paradise Island.[1.0 25]
- The rest of the world will only receive minor polish and half of it will have some fixes to water.[1.0 26]
- There will not be a snow biome in the game.[1.0 27]
Resource node changes
Resource nodes are changing to incentivize exploration and spreading out.[1.0 28] This is done by adding or removing nodes, changing their purity or location. The overall amount of maximum resources per minute is increasing.
Geysers
More Geysers have been added all over the Map increasing the total number of Geysers from 18 to 30.[1.0 29][1.0 30][1.0 31]
Some existing Geysers had their purity levels decreased down one level, while some other existing Geysers had no change.
Other features

- Crab Boss will not be in 1.0.[1.0 36]
Optimizations
1.0 will include several game optimizations.[1.0 37]
- The "colliders" for various types of Foliage are being removed from Vehicles, which will result in the inability to destroy most smaller foliage by driving a Vehicle over them.[1.0 38]
- Both Conveyor Belts and Pipelines individual segments will be "pooled" into one instance group, thereby reducing the CPU computational load.[1.0 39]
- The rendering of shadows will improve by use of bigger instance pools allowing for faster computation.[1.0 40]
- Certain Buildable's that don't produce items, nor are interacted with by the Player, called Lightweight Actors, are being converted into "Data Only Objects" resulting in faster game Load Times, and quicker Autosave and Manual Save times, along with smaller Game Saves file sizes, and reduction of UObjects used in game. Common examples of Data Only Objects are Foundations, Walls, Railings, Stairs, etc.[1.0 41][1.0 42]
- All the machine animations in the game will use Vertex Animations instead of standard animations.[1.0 43]
- There are other optimizations coming in Version 1.0[1.0 44] to include:
- Memory improvements that will lower the VRAM requirements for everyone.
- Scalability improvements making changes from a lower setting to a higher setting, or vice-versa, better.
- Unreal Engine 5.3 which comes with some performance improvements due to Epic fixing some issues in UE 5.2, and also had the benefit of fixing some game crashes that players were experiencing.
- Upgraded Upscalers where both Nvidia Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), and AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR) have been upgraded to their respective latest versions.
- Dedicated servers, in addition to the changes and improvements noted below, and the optimizations to foliage, Conveyor Belts and Pipelines noted above, will also now have the ability to do level streaming.
Dedicated servers
In 1.0, Dedicated servers will be receiving changes and improvements.[1.0 45][1.0 46] The noted changes are:
- Easier to install by reducing the install size.
- Will only use one port, that being UDP/TCP 7777.
- Support for both IPv4 and IPv6.
- Being able to choose between a GUI console application and a terminal application.
- Support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) end-to-end encryption for both server and game data/traffic.
- Improved console screen.
- Easier to create new game sessions.
- Support for use of Advanced Game Settings.
- Easier to set up server configuration settings.
- Server admins will now be able to download the save file directly from within the Server Manager.
- Autosave and server status notifications will be sent to all clients.
- This also will apply to player-hosted multiplayer sessions.
- Support for HTTP API methods between the server and client.
- Future mod support will allow use of the HTTP API to perform functions from within mods, and to extend the API functionality.
Online subsystem
1.0 wil feature improvements to the online subsystem.[1.0 47] The noted changes are:
- Ability to use Steam Online Service for Steam players.
- Ability to disable the online subsystem if players know they won't be doing any multiplayer sessions.
- Ability to connect to a specific IP Address for those who are familiar with networking.
Toilet Flush
Flushing of the toilet in the HUB.[1.0 48]

DLC
Trains
A reference to DLC for a second "choo" for the Trains was made in February 2022.[DLC 7][DLC 2]
Tick Armor
A reference to DLC for hard hats for hats on creatures such as the Space Giraffe-Tick-Penguin-Whale Thing has been referenced as being $2.50.[DLC 8]
Deluxe Edition
Coffee Stain Studios have been "discussing the possibility" of deluxe editions of the game on release.[DLC 9]
Pink Coffee Cup Pack
Snutt joked in July 2nd, 2024's livestream about the anticipation of a Pink Coffee Cup DLC. [Clip needed]
Unspecified
- Coffee Stain are looking into revamping the tutorial and very beginning of the game to provide a much easier entry into the game, and to bring in more people to the game and not scare them. [Unspecified 1] They specifically asked for the community to provide them with ideas and their own thoughts on how this could be accomplished in the future.[Unspecified 1]
- Coffee Stain Studios is considering a option that when you join the game during a Multiplayer Session or using a Dedicated Server you will be able to pick which Character you wish to spawn as (i.e. "possess"). [Unspecified 2]
- There is content that has been "semi-finished" but not included in the 1.0 release to avoid the risk of additional issues occurring.[Unspecified 3]
Obvious jokes
- Skipping Satisfactory 2 & 3, and going straight to Satisfactory 4 [Clip needed]
