Version 1.2
The release of Version 1.2 for the game, in first half of 2026, has been confirmed.[1.2 1][1.2 2]
Fluid update
- Both Oil Extractor and Water Extractor can now extract Oil and Water from shallow water areas.[1.2 3]
- Fluid Truck Station for fluid delivery and pickup with pipeline inputs / outputs.[1.2 4]
- Tanker Truck for fluids.[1.2 4]
Game modes
- Addition of game modes has been hinted, but will not be a post-game / end-game extension.[1.2 5][1.2 6]
- Resource Node randomization was hinted to being added to game.[1.2 7]
Vehicle improvements
It has been hinted that QoL improvements to vehicle routes is planned.[1.2 8]
DLC
Release date
No DLC will be released prior to release of Version 1.1 and game release to Consoles in 2025.[DLC 1]
Trains
A reference to DLC for a second "choo" for the Trains was made in February 2022.[DLC 2][DLC 3]
Tick Armor
A reference to DLC for hard hats for hats on creatures such as the Space Giraffe-Tick-Penguin-Whale Thing has been referenced as being $2.50.[DLC 4]
Deluxe Edition
Coffee Stain Studios have been "discussing the possibility" of deluxe editions of the game on release.[DLC 5]
Pink Coffee Cup Pack
Snutt joked in July 2nd, 2024's livestream about the anticipation of a Pink Coffee Cup DLC.[DLC 6]
Unspecified
- Coffee Stain are looking into revamping the tutorial and very beginning of the game to provide a much easier entry into the game, and to bring in more people to the game and not scare them. [Unspecified 1] They specifically asked for the community to provide them with ideas and their own thoughts on how this could be accomplished in the future.[Unspecified 1]
- Coffee Stain Studios is considering a option wherein, upon joining a Multiplayer session or Dedicated Server, you will be able to pick which character you wish to spawn as (i.e. "possess"). [Unspecified 2]
- There is content that has been "semi-finished" but not included in the 1.0 release to avoid the risk of additional issues occurring.[Unspecified 3]
