Hoverpack
The Hoverpack is late-game personal flight equipment that feeds on nearby Power Line connectors (on Power Poles and Buildings) and Railways. It allows pioneers to hover endlessly, as long as they are within range of a powered structure. Pioneers can use it to gain elevation and increase their interaction range to make factory building easier.

Usage
Equipment
The Hoverpack must be used within range of a power source. A power source is "attached" to the Hoverpack at about 64 meters measured in a straight line between the source and the pioneer. Once in flight the pioneer has a horizontal range of 64 meters and can fly up to about 62 to 64 meters above or below the power source. The UI at the bottom left indicates whether the pioneer is in range, similar to a wireless strength indicator. Whenever the pioneer comes within range of a new power source, a blue energy beam effect is briefly shown connecting the pioneer and the power source. Moving out of range mid-flight simply causes the pioneer to fall and allows slow-fall. If the pioneer comes back into range while falling hovering will automatically resume.
The Power Line does not count as a valid power source for the Hoverpack. So, if Power Poles are constructed more than 128 meters apart the Hoverpack will lose connection between the Power Poles. This can be worked around by flying high enough before losing connection and then using slow-fall until the pioneer is within range of the next Power Pole. This may not work as well or at all if the second Power Pole is too high above the previous Power Pole. Powered train rails can power the Hoverpack, but will not display the energy beam effect when the Hoverpack connects to the rails for power.
While equipped, press and hold Jump Space to start flying, hold Jump Space to ascend, hold Crouch C to descend, and double-tap Crouch C to exit hover mode. Navigation is done using the Directional keys WASD. Sprinting ⇧ Shift is also possible. If power is lost mid-flight, hold Jump Space to slow-fall; this also reduces horizontal speed.
The Hoverpack has a normal flight speed of 23.4 km/h, and a sprinting flight speed of 46.8 km/h, the latter of which is similar to sprinting with Blade Runners equipped.
Interaction
While hovering, the interaction range with buildings increases from 3.5 meters to 20 meters.
