Generates power based on the total amount of power on the attached power grid. This experimental technology is somehow able to extract power from the Somersloop by blasting it with energy.

The Alien Power Augmenter is a power amplifier building that boosts power by adding 10% to the grid it is connected to, as well as generating 500 MW on its own.

If supplied with 5  Alien Power Matrixes/min, it increases its boost to 30%.

Due to requiring non-renewable  Somersloops to construct, only a limited amount of Power Augmenters can be built.

Usage

As Alien Power Augmenters generate 500 MW on their own, they contribute to base power production as follows:
$Baseproduction=Generatorproduction+500\times APAs$

A multiplier to the base production is calculated as follows (where fueled means supplied by 5 Alien Power Matrixes/min):
$Powermultiplier=0.1\times UnfueledAPAs+0.3\times FueledAPAs$

The resulting augmented power production is thus
$Augmentedproduction=Baseproduction+Baseproduction\times Powermultiplier$

For example, 5000 MW is being produced. An Alien Power Augmenter is built, which itself generates 500 MW, bringing the base capacity to 5500 MW. Then, that 5500 MW is boosted by 10%, resulting in a total power capacity of 5500 + 550 = 6050 MW. If a second Augmenter is built, the base capacity increases to 6000 MW, and is boosted by 20% to 6000 + 1200 = 7200 MW.
