Walls are a set of buildings which can be used to enclose and divide areas of a factory. They can be customized using the Customizer. Walls snap to foundations and other walls, and are useful for building multi-floor structures.

Construction
Walls
Walls can be built one at a time or 10 at once using the Zoop construction mode.
Walls have to be snapped to a Foundation, Pillar or another wall, they can not be placed freely.
Flat wall, door, and window variants can be swapped between by holding Snap To Guidelines/Snap Mode ( Ctrl by default) and aiming at the wall to be replaced.
Doors
Walls with doors can be interacted with using E to change their default action which will also change the light to red or green which will be the same on both sides.[1][2]

Other
- Modern and Industrial Railings will turn into a diagonal form when snapped to a foundation.
- In addition to their primary function, Road Barriers can be use to help align walls[3] and foundations.[4]

As of Patch 0.3, it is no longer possible to unlock Wall Conveyor Perpendiculars. The only way to access them is by loading a savegame from previous versions with these unlocked, which will make them normally appear in the world and build menu. These walls were functionally replaced with the 
Conveyor Wall Mount.
Trivia
- The Wall Gate is large enough for a Tractor or a Explorer to pass through, but a Truck will not fit. It is also not big enough for the Train.
- The Wall Gate can be double stacked for the Truck to fit through.
- When the pioneer runs into a Glass Wall there will be a "bonk" sound.[5][6]
- Technically, the
AWESOME Shop's description for the FICSIT Door Wall can be untrue - the 
Dimensional Depot and 
Portals both utilize some form of space dilation, so it must have passed the R&D phase.

Early game development
Prior to Closed Alpha, the wall first appeared during Sprint 8 (week 16) and had only one type. More were added later to include a Fence.
