우주 엘리베이터는 프로젝트 어셈블리 부품을 공급하여 프로젝트 어셈블리의 단계를 완료하는 데 사용되는 특수 건물이다. 처음 3번의 배달은 높은 티어의 마일스톤이 2개씩 해제되며, 네 번째 배달은 AWESOME 상점에서 '행성의 직원'컵이 해제된다.
세계 어디에 서든 볼 수 있어 탐험에 유용한 랜드마크가 된다.

건물 및 재건축
티어 3 이상을 해제하려면 우주 엘리베이터를 건설 해야 한다. 우주 엘리베이터는 게임 내에서 하나만 건설할 수 있다. 그리고 언제든지 분해하고 재건축할 수 있으며, 진행률은 유지된다.
한번 아이템이 엘리베이터에 실리면 회수할 수 없다.
멀티플레이 게임에서 우주 엘리베이터와 진행률은 모든 플레이어와 공유된다.
팁
- 정면에 단말기가 있지만 플레이어는 모든 방향에서 우주 엘리베이터와 상호작용할 수 있다.
- 토대 위에 우주 엘리베이터를 건설할 때 중심에 건설하고 싶은 경우 토대 위에 서로 마주 보지 않은 두 개의 반향(북, 동, 남, 서 또는 북/서, 북/동, 남/동, 남/서)에 망루를 배치하고 망루 중 하나에 서 있으면 중심점에 건설할 수 있다.
- 프로젝트 부품은 높은 비용 때문에 초기 개척자들은 제조하기 어려운 부품의 비용을 절약하기 위해 과잉 생산된 부품은 나중에 AWESOME 싱크의 좋은 포인트가 된다.
여담
- 각각의 배달 후에, 우주 엘리베이터는 몇 분 동안 하늘로 올라간 뒤 다시 낮은 고도로 내려온다.
- Only the anchors of the Space Elevator are constructed by the Engineer, which explains its rather cheap price.
- In a multiplayer game, if a player sends off the items by pulling the handle, other players will not be able to see the animated handle in the Space Elevator UI if they opened the UI at the same time.
- The delivery mechanism of the Space Elevator does have collision maps, so if the player managed to work their way up to the top, they would be able to walk around on it.
- 프로젝트 어셈블리 자체는 게임 내에서는 볼 수 없지만, E3 트레일러의 끝에 잠깐 나타난다.[1]
- Jace와 Sofi, Snutt에 따르면, 우주 엘리베이터의 꼭대기에는 푸드코트가 있는 것으로 추정된다.[2][3]
