Caterina as well as Steve have been officially retconned from Satisfactory's story and universe as of 16th of August 2024.[1]
Steve was to be an assistant to Caterina Parks, an employee at FICSIT Inc. and the creator of the 'Introduction' on the original website describing some duties to the pioneer. He has been described as ambitious and very stressed.[2]
Former Speculation
- Possibly a primary point of contact for the pioneer during their time working for FICSIT Inc.
- The male voice in the game file 0379.wav saying "Huh, must have been a dream." possibly belonged to him. The sound is currently unused in the game, as Steve is no longer part of Satisfactory's cast or lore. It should be noted that a female voice (possibly Caterina's) said the exact same thing in the file 0926.wav.
