Refinement of 3rd tip?

Regarding this table...:

Purity Amount Power Average power
Impure 3 50–150 MW 100 MW
Normal 9 100–300 MW 200 MW
Pure 6 200–600 MW 400 MW
Total 18 2250–6750 MW 4500 MW

... and the subsequent (currently) 3rd tip:

* Another fluctuation mitigation strategy is to build pairs of equal-purity Geothermal Generators exactly halfway through each other's cycle (30 seconds apart), thus cancelling each other out, as their phase will be exactly opposite. This leads to guaranteed 200 MW, 400 MW and 800 MW per pair by purity respectively.

There are an odd number of Normal and Impure geysers. As worded "pair by purity", this tip implies one unused Normal and one unused Impure geyser. However, one might pair two Impure geysers against one Normal geyser, to maximize stable output. Then the only fluctuation will be from an Impure geyser, which is easily mitigated by a single (0.5, rounded up) power store. This would result in stable 4.4GW with a 0.1GW ripple absorbed by power storage. If the numbers of geysers change in future updates, the refine strategy would be to pair any odd Pure with two Normal, one Normal and two Impure, or four Impure geysers (theoretical).

The hard part remains, how to get the timing of the build exactly right, or even approximately right. If there's a utility, mod, etc, that can allow us to manually edit the build time, or otherwise automagically resync the cycles so they are complementary, such techniques or tools should also be referenced, as that'd probably be a help to people.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Warp9pnt9 (talk • contribs) at 12:32, 20 September 2022 (UTC).
