Overview

Note: This Page is still in it's very early stage of research and construction

By using a combination of Valves, Pipeline Pumps (powered or unpowered) and "Overflow" builds, it is possible to construct logic gates.
As it currently stands, the NAND-Gate is possible. It reacts very slow to state changes (around 15 to 30 seconds), but the concept is proven. The next step would involve designing and testing Flipflops and advanced NAND circuits.

Experimental Recipe Summaries




  • When there's lots of Copper nearby, Iron Alloy Ingot can be used to increase your Iron Ingot production, should you ever be in desperate need of more Iron. Its a bit more compact than a row of Smelters. Its main downside is the usage of Copper, which is actually much more scarce than Iron Ore.
    - "Finally a good use for this useless Copper. What else would I use it for, Wire? "
  • If you have a lot of Water available, Pure Iron Ingot can be used to boost your Iron Ingot production without using other valuable resources. If you don't feel confident enough dealing with the power demand and size of Refineries, as well as piping, consider a different recipe.
    - "Neat, more Refineries! These will fit nicely into my Refinery collection."

  • Sloppy Alumina can be used to make more Alumina Solution from Bauxite, but it uses more power and doesn't even produce Silica. So if you want your Aluminum Ingots, you will have to bring in more Silica from elsewhere. Unless you use the Pure Aluminum Ingot recipe.

  • If you have easy access to Oil and need more Aluminum, Electrode - Aluminum Scrap can be used to produce more Scrap per Alumina Solution. It gets complicated though, since you need to deal with the byproducts of refining Crude Oil to Heavy Oil Residue and you need more Refineries to process Alumina Solution than you would with the normal recipe.
  • If you like simple production lines, Instant Scrap can help you with that. While it does need Sulfuric Acid made from valuable Sulfur, it produces Scrap just as efficiently as other alternative recipe combinations. - "So good I'll Instant Crap my pants!"

  • Don't want to deal with Silica or want a simple and small production line? Pure Aluminum Ingot can do that for you. The downside is it doesn't make Aluminum Ingots as efficiently as the normal recipe.
