Official description

The official description right now is the now removed "I'm not sure what this is" or however it was worded, should that be retained over the real life application in some part seeing as how the game is aiming at light heartedness? Grishord (talk) 14:48, 15 June 2018 (UTC)

I added the official description back as a quote and added a cleanup notice for when we have information, but I think it's okay to leave what was added for now. However, I say once we do have some game-pertinent information, we trim what's there now down to a sentence or two, move it to a trivia section, and link to the Wikipedia article. It's important to remember that this wiki is about Satisfactory, and so real-world science is mostly irrelevant, and might not even be true in this scope.

I'd say that while we have no details, speculation is as relevant as anything else, and the real world info allows us to speculate in more detail. Therefor I think for as long as speculation is left on an article real world info should be allowed.--Mug806 (talk) 17:58, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Weighted Point

Are the weighted point totals on this page correct? I may be misunderstanding how they are calculated, but if it's simple addition the totals should be 160.35 for default and 115.94 for the alt recipe. 72.199.112.237 19:33, 6 June 2021 (UTC)

Weighted Point still wrong

Quickwire recipe uses 60 Quickwire per min. Fused Quickwire uses 5 Copper Ingot for 12 Quickwire. Pure Copper Ingot uses 6 Copper Ore for 15 Copper Ingot. Steel Pipes do not use Copper Ore. So the Quickwire recipe uses 60 * (5/12) * (6/15) = 10 Copper Ore per min.

Didn't check the other data. More might be wrong.
