I can't figure out how to change the color of the navbox background or the background of alerts like "this page needs cleanup", even with the help of this page https://help.gamepedia.com/MediaWiki_CSS. Anyone able to help?

Specifically the "Unreleased" notice template's background is set by an ambox parameter:

| style = background-color: #FFFFCC

Template:UnreleasedNav uses CSS for that:

| above = <div style="background-color: #FFFFCC;">'''Reminder: The discussion of unreleased content is discouraged by Coffee Stain Studios and forbidden in several official game communities.'''</div>
