Talk:Lizard Doggo
When was the Lizard Doggo introduced to Satisfactory?
Has the Lizard Doggo been always in the game from the beginning (he was shown in the teaser)?
I would like to add this information at the history section. - Cepto (talk) 11:55, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- The history of many elementary things in the game can't be dated to the first Closed Alpha builds back from 2018, and because preceding builds were not public and no patch notes were made for them (or published), we have no way of finding out when were Conveyor Belts, Smelters, Miners, Constructors, Assemblers, Stingers etc. added either.
- Just as a side note, Lizard Doggos were the first publicly teased feature about the game, even before the name of the game was known, uploaded in 2018. However, no Lizard Doggos can be seen in the 2017 build of the game which appears in one CSS video and was also streamed once. --Ondar111 (talk) 12:46, 30 January 2021 (UTC)

- Thank you! Can't add it to the article straight away as it needs to be reformatted first, but this is very valuable data. --Ondar111 (talk) 22:13, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
U6 Changes and notes on the Lizard Doggo I Have
After playing around with Lizard Doggos in Update 6 I have found some notable differences:
- Lizard Doggos no longer untame themselves when the player dies.
- Lizard Doggos can now be accessed by any player.
- Gas damage now seems to affect mobs. Testing needed if it also affects the Lizard Doggo.
- Lizard Doggos would consume berries placed on the floor whenever the pioneer was close enough, and seemingly had an impact on whether they stuck around. As of U6, they will always comsume berries if they are on the floor, whether the pioneer is close to them or not, and the berries do not affect whether they want to stay at all.
Also some notes:
- Linked to above, Lizard Doggos will actively avoid gas clouds about to be spawned by the gas generating flowers, and they will run away from the player even while tamed to maintain their safety.
- Water poses a threat to the pioneer, since falling in water severely slows down the Lizard Doggo because the pathfinding has problems with it. To work around this, the pioneer can place foundations below them to guide them to the floor.
- Enemy creatures do not actively hunt or try to hurt the Lizard Doggos. The main danger is the crossfire involved of combat, and I feel like that should be made more clear. As such, All variant of Hog, the non-elite Stingers, and specifically the shotgun Spitters are all fair game since they do not do AoE damage nor shoot projectiles. The worst that can happen is that they push the Lizard Doggo into an inopportune position.

1.0 and changes to dropped items and rates
Drops observed so far on a Version CL#366202 world:
Ores: SAM
Flora and Fauna: All Three Slugs, Spitter remains
Components: Crystal Oscillator, Wire, Biomass, Solid Biofuel, Rotor, Stator, Heat Sink, Iron Plate, Turbo Motor, Cable, Reinforced Iron Plate, High Speed Connector, Alclad Aluminum Sheet, Quartz Crystal, Motor, Concrete, Silica, Copper Sheet, Rifle Ammo, and Nobelisk. TheKuygerian (talk) 07:57, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- I can add Modular Frames to that list. On Reddit, someone claimed to get a Nuke Nobelisk, and a lot of commenters replied saying they'd got Turbo Motors. Should we just assume that Lizard Doggos can bring any manufactured product in the game? Syskill (talk) 16:08, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- Might be a stretch to assume so, I have yet to see any Project Parts, Gas/Iodine Filters, or Fuel Rods. Also, have not seen *any* ores since 1.0. Updated List:
- Alclad Aluminum Sheet, Aluminum Casing Beryl Nut, Biomass, Blue Slug Cable, Circuit Board, Cooling System, Computer, Concrete, Silica, Copper Sheet, Crystal Oscillator, Electromagnetic Control Rod, Encased Industrial Beam, Fused Modular Frame, Heat Sink, Heavy Modular Frame, High Speed Connector, Hog Remains, Iron Plate, Iron Rebar, Iron Rod, Modular Frame, Motor, Nobelisk, Plastic, Pulse Nobelisk, Purple Slug, Quartz Crystal, Quickwire, Reinforced Iron Plate, Rifle Ammo, Rotor, Rubber, SAM, Screw, Silica, Solid Biofuel, Spitter Remains, Stator, Steel Beam, Steel Pipe, Turbo Motor, Wire, Yellow Slug.
- One interesting thing is that Stators have always appeared in quantities of 14, Solid Biofuel in sets of 6, Rifle Ammo only appears 1 at a time. Most items probably have predetermined values that can be observed and noted.
