This page is an archive of future game content added after release of Version 1.0.

Due to Satisfactory now being in full release, most future content will occurring at irregular intervals, and as each future content is introduced in the game the history of that content will be documented below.

The contents are kept for reference purposes only, and should be preserved in their current form. Do not modify existing content, but add new historical content as needed below existing content.

FICSMAS 2024

There will be a FICSMAS starting on December 1, 2024.[FICSMAS 1]

All of FICSMAS has been given the "Version 1.0 polish" for all art assets, plus a new Advent Calendar, cool unlocks, updated MAM FICSMAS Research Tree, and some hidden things not shown in teaser.[FICSMAS 2]

Other than the artwork, the operation of the FICSMAS Advent Calendar will be the same as in the past, with specific unlocks on specific days and random unlocks on all other days.[FICSMAS 3]

A FICSMAS 2024 Teaser[FICSMAS 4] was shown during The Spill.

Experimental Version

The Experimental (EX) / Beta Branch in the post-Version 1.0 era was started on February 18th, 2025.[EX 1]

  • There was a Experimental Version on both Steam and Epic Games of the Satisfactory.[EX 2]
  • Initially the Experimental (EX) / Beta Branch concentrated on optimizations and technical improvements but no new content.[EX 3] The main focus for the first Experimental (EX) / Beta Branch release was on Multiplayer and Dedicated Servers improvements as well as Customizer optimizations.[EX 4][EX 5]
  • After the initial release of the Experimental (EX) / Beta Branch in the post-Version 1.0 era there were more bug fixes and optimizations to test by those participating in the Beta Version.[EX 6]

Version 1.1

Release of Version 1.1 is currently slated for 2025.

  • Version 1.1 will be released first before Console Release.[1.1 1][1.1 2] This was changed from what was previously stated.
  • Release date announcement as a means of trolling by Snutt, February 30th.[1.1 3]
  • Release date announcement as a means of trolling by Mikael, between April 1st and November 18th, 2025.[1.1 4]

Experimental Release

Version 1.1. is to be released to Experimental (EX) / Beta Branch on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.[1.1 5]

New content

The following are known (confirmed) new game content in Version 1.1:

  • Straight Pipeline Function.[1.1 6][1.1 7][1.1 8][1.1 9]
  • Hypertube Junctions.[1.1 10][1.1 11][1.1 12]
    • There will be both "Y" and "T" Hypertube Junctions.
    • Hypertube Junctions will be controlled by pressing the E and select which direction you want to go.
  • Crash Site removal.[1.1 10][1.1 13]
    • Crash Sites can only be removed after Drop Pod has been opened and Hard Drive retrieved.[1.1 14]
  • Previous unremovable plants can be now be removed.[1.1 10]
    • Flora now is animated when removed and nothing is left behind to pick up.[1.1 15][1.1 16]
  • Teaser Video released on March 14, 2025[1.1 17][1.1 18] showed new content and features not previously revealed:
    • Improved Photo Mode which will include DoF and photo effects / filters.[1.1 19]
      • You will be able to layer various effects as well as set the strength of each filter.[1.1 20]
      • You will be able to make smooth camera panning/zoom shots.[1.1 21]
    • New Architectural Buildable's:[1.1 22][1.1 23]
      • Air Vents.[1.1 24]
      • Beam types with rivets, ridges, and new beam supports.
      • Circular Pillar or Beam.
      • Suspension cables.
      • Garage Door.
      • Storage Shelves.
    • Vertical Splitters and Vertical Mergers.[1.1 25]
    • Conveyor Belt Throughput Displays.[1.1 26][1.1 27]
      • Counts the throughput for what is passing a specific point on the Belt.
    • Conveyor wall holes.[1.1 28]
    • Curved Buildable's.[1.1 29]
    • Personnel Elevators.[1.1 30][1.1 31]
      • Can be placed and Zooped vertically.
      • You will be able to customize each "floor" as you wish, to include assigning a Name, Icon, and Color.
      • You will also be able to select what Game Music should be played in that Personnel Elevator.
    • Train signals on left of rail.[1.1 32][1.1 33]
    • Improved drone pathing.[1]
    • New Effects (VFX) for existing Buildings and Machines.[1.1 34][1.1 35]
  • Teaser Video released March 28, 2025 [1.1 36][1.1 37] showed new content and features not previously revealed:
    • Hypertube Branches.[1.1 38]
      • This will be a "r" shaped Hypertube buildable that has a direction of travel in that after placement can only be used by traveling thought the Hypertubes longer shape.
      • Like Hypertube Junctions, to control will you press the E and select which direction you want to go.
    • Priority Mergers.[1.1 39]
      • You can set the "Priority" (High, Medium, Low) for each of the 3 Inputs.
    • Curved Build Mode.[1.1 40]
      • Can be used for both Conveyor Belts and Pipelines.
    • Railroad Buffer Stops.[1.1 41]
      • Placed at the end of a Track and will bring a Train to an immediate stop (without crashing) to prevent running off the end of a track when manually driving train.
    • Blueprint Build Mode (Auto Connect).[1.1 42]
    • Improved Sign Sampling and Placement.[1.1 43]
    • No Fuel Advanced Game Settings.[1.1 44]
    • HUB Coffee Machine Interaction.[1.1 45]
    • Vertical Nudge Mode.[1.1 46]
    • Controller Support.[1.1 47]

Consoles

At end of Satisfactory 1.0 Launch Trailer[Console 1] it was revealed that Satisfactory would be coming to Consoles (PlayStation and Xbox) at some point in the future.

Controller support

It was announced during Satisfactory Version 1.0 Release livestream that along with Consoles that the game will finally get official controller support for both consoles and PC.[Console 2][Console 3][Console 4][Console 5]

Experimental version

They are considering a "Experimental Branch for Controller Support" for PC Players to beta test official controller support.[Console 5][Console 6]

  • Controller Support will be included in Version 1.1, starting in Experimental (EX) / Beta Branch[Console 7] as of April 1st, 2025.
  • Controller support for PC was released in Version 1.1 Experimental (EX) / Beta Branch.
