Dark Matter Crystal
The Dark Matter Crystal is a crafting component produced by solidifying Dark Matter Residue in a Particle Accelerator.
It can be sunk to get rid of unwanted Dark Matter Residue byproduct.

Tips
When combining different recipes, it is possible to create a closed loop with no excess Dark Matter Residue or Dark Matter Crystal. The total number of Dark Matter Crystals and Dark Matter Residue needs to be inserted into an equation of their production rate and consumption rate respectively.
Solving the equations for the amount of Standard recipe and Crystallization recipe, the results are
For example: in production line of 5 Alien Power Matrix/min are 675 Dark Matter Residue/min produced and 120 Dark Matter Crystal/min needed. Inserting the numbers into the equations, the results are
In order to make 120 Dark Matter Crystal/min, 3.5 Accelerators with default recipe and 0.75 Accelerator with the Crystallization recipe are needed with no excess Dark Matter Residue.
For further optimization, exchange the default recipe with the Trap recipe.
Again solve for the recipes
Using the previous example, only 1.166667 Accelerators with the Trap recipe and 2.5 Accelerators with the Crystallization recipe are needed. This results in a third of coal consumption due to the fact, that the Standard recipe and the Trap recipe have the same Coal to Dark Matter Crystal conversion rate. This comes at the cost of a higher power consumption, since diamonds needs to converted in to Time Crystal via Converters.
In order to jump start the system, either fill the pipes with Dark Matter Residue or - much more reliable - put a half stack Dark Matter Crystal into all machines that need them to produce.
Important note: These equations only do their job until if either the Standard recipe or the Trap recipe are negative. This is possible due to boosting production via Somersloop. In this case, just use the Crystallization recipe.
