Beetle
The Beetle (sometimes referred to as a "Poison Pete" or "Sneezy" by the community) is a new creature, which was added in Version 1.0 Release.
Appearance
Beetles have a distinctive, insect-like appearance, combining features reminiscent of a flower and a bean, giving them a strange but charming look. Their bodies are cylindrical and segmented, supported by six long, slender legs. The creature's vibrant color palette features shades of blue with pink and purple highlights, especially on their legs and head appendages. The head is adorned with large, wing-like structures that resemble petals or fins, extending from both sides of its face, likely used for sensory or communicative purposes.
Their lightweight yet sturdy body is supported by segmented legs, and the head is equipped with antennae and fine tendrils, adding to the creature's intricate design. Their unique shape makes the Beetle stand out among the fauna of Massage-2(A-B)b.
Behavior
The Beetle is a passive creature. It will not attack the pioneer and will not run away when approached. If attacked by a pioneer, it will simply walk away from the pioneer before settling down again a short while after.[1]
Occasionally it will "sneeze" what appears to be poison gas similar to Spore Flowers, but the gas does not appear to do any damage.[2]
